The crisp evening air was soothing to the young witch who walked along a wooden fence on a well worn path. The grass of this land was lush and very green, as she walked her silvery straight hair gently blew in the wind, the sound of animals grazing the pasture she walked along was calming to her ears. Adellaa had spent almost eight years on the road helping those she meet on her travels. She never looked back unless it had to deal with her on and off again relationship with Marcus, a man she'd meet many times as she traveled all of Monstreial. Her spirits high and a smile on her pretty face she stopped just before the entrance to this quaint farming town. You could smell the animals and see all the hard work that the people of this town did everyday. What adventures awaited this young witch here?

Ranmaru Watanabe
When the day had eventually wound down, Ranmaru decided to retire back to Dinkus. He had previously been out in the fields gathering ingredients for a stew while having his traveling companions rest. It had been a peaceful and productive day without too many worries.
Osamu the mammoth and Jichi the running swan rested by the stream as they watching their master return with a pack full of edible morsels. It would be almost impossible to see it past the wooly black hair, but Osamu had a look of anticipation with his large head lifted up. He had his fill of grass, but the mushrooms that his master picked were better tasting. On the other hand, Jichi was interested to see if he had found any seeds or loose maize from the fields. After all, the taste of fish is inferior, and the sweetness of maize kernels is far superior.
As he neared, the two mounts rose from their places and started their approach. Jichi wasted no time in running to her master, whilst Osamu took a leisurely pace, knowing that he would receive a gift regardless of his speed.
"Oho," the werewolf giant chuckled as Jichi brushed her pretty head against his arm, "I know what you're looking for." He pulled out a piece of unpeeled maize from his satchel, "You can have one, but don't eat it just yet." He held the maize up for her to take. She took it in her beak, but as per his command she just held it. This would be a test of her willpower.
WHEN CAN I EAT IT? OH, GOODNESS. HE DIDN'T TELL ME WHEN I CAN EAT IT.
Such was the struggle of a swan.
Osamu would receive the same treatment in fairness, but he was much more patient. When he received a mushroom onto his trunk, he simply curled it and locked it in place. He knew it was something to look forward to.
With that, Ranmaru had Jichi mount upon Osamu's back, then led them back on the road to Dinkus. The farming town was not so far away, but because of Osamu's pace their arrival was... typical. Most of the inns and taverns had already been packed, not that Ranmaru had much use to them. Few people rarely enjoyed the presence of the werewolf giant, and neither did most places have good accommodations for someone of his stature.
In any case, Ranmaru finally reached the town entrance. The first order of the night was to get stable lodging for his mounts, and the second was to find a spot where he could rest his head with little discrimination to be had.
Of course, there was a person standing by the entrance. By their appearance from behind, it was safe to say that it was humanoid. Even more with the figure and build, it may be a female. Her outfit suggested that she was a mage, but it seems her intentions were benevolent. That aside, she was in the way of Osamu's stride.
The werewolf giant cleared his throat as they drew near, "Excuse me, miss. Caravan coming through."

Adella looked over her shoulder to see that of a stranger coming her way and not alone. A large hairy creature followed the stranger. Her eyes stayed glued to the stranger for a few long seconds, he was giant and werewolf by the looks of him. Without a moments hesitation she stepped aside to allow the caravan to pass.
"Sorry to be in your way sir." Adella spoke calmly to the stranger.
She had not seen someone like him before and did her best not to stare at as she gave him a beaming smile. Though the young witch hadn't meet many werewolves on her travels she knew better than to do anything to make them mad. Yet thanks to her use of magic she a small degree in sensing if others were hostile and she couldn't feel the slightest bit of hostility coming from this giant of a werewolf.

Ranmaru
The werewolf giant nodded his head to the young lady as she moved aside, "Thank you." When Osamu cleared the entrance, Ranmaru turned his head to the young lady and inadvertently read her intentions. She seemed like a safe one... for now, at least.
"I do not mean to pry," he said with a timid and careful undertone, "But it is not safe for you to linger at the fall of the night, little stranger. Lecherous men are usually active at this time. I suggest that you find a place to stay."
ooc - sorry for the late and short reply. x.x I had a tough time trying to think of something to say ><

The young witch gave the big werewolf a faint smile and scratched her head. He had a point about the night.
"You are right sir, thank you for your concern and the advise." Adella gave him a slight bow and began to walk toward him.
She hadn't really been thinking about the people that came out at night until just now. So far on her travels she was lucky to have found the Inn and had a nice place to sleep but things might be a bit different with it being so late in the day.

Ranmaru
"Of course, little one," said Ranmaru with a nod, "Have a good night. Stay safe." With that, he carried on at a leisurely pace.
Still, it bugged him. Dinkus wasn't entirely safe, and he wasn't the type to leave someone behind who had no apparent means of self-protection, but he didn't want to be overbearing. Sure, he had offered rides for weary travelers -- although it is mostly out of sheer desperation, not too many people trusted werewolves -- but this would be no different. If she declines, fine, let her be on her way.
Ranmaru turned around and was about to call back to her, but then he noticed she was already following after him.
"Oh," he said. This was unexpected, even for him. "Would... you like some help finding a place to stay?"
