Welcome to Monstreial!
The realm of monsters where they live and have normal lives like humans do. Though sometimes the children of monsters happen to make their way through hidden portals to the human world. This happens to the young new born child of the King and Queen of Monstreial. It is on a dark moonless night that dark forces kidnap the young princess and send her to the human world thinking that the would be killed later on in life when her monster powers awoke. Many years passed before word of the princess gave the King and Queen any ray of hope. The princess had been found by a young woman and was raised to be human, though no humans could sense or smell the monster blood that ran through her veins she remained in hiding.
The princess's powers should have awoken on her seventh birthday but nothing had happened. The princess remained human, though she was being watched in secret by loyal soldiers of the King and Queen. Little did the princess know that she was going to be taken back to Monstreial. It is on her 21st birthday that she is working late at her job, her boss stayed late as well but there was something strange about the way her boss had been acting. In the end her boss was a troll that had been looking for a woman to marry even if he had to force her. The woman he had picked was her, she resisted him while he was in human form only to be saved by a Vampire and Werewolf who strange to human were actually best friends. A fight ensued between them! The princess didn't like conflict and wanted it to stop, unknowingly, the princess used her monster powers to stop the fighting but soon passed out from the use of her powers. Now safe in Monstreial in the castle, the princess rests. But the dark forces that had kidnapped her before have begun to stir as they get ready to unleash their plans to send the world into chaos.
Now for the part that everyone hates... the Rules!
1. No bullying, I won't tolerate it. If you have a problem PM a staff member.
2. Respect the staff, if you don't agree with something that a staff member has done, then PM the Admin.
3. Be considerate of others
4. Liquid time is allowed
5. No word count but would like to see at least 50 words for each post
6. Grammar isn't important here but there is a spell check so please use it
7. Everyone must post at least twice a week IC(In Character), it isn't hard to do
8. No money system unless said otherwise
9. Cussing is allowed but use common sense.
10. Follow the character that is already made.
11. No character limits
12. No God Play! No one can control another member's character or kill another member's character unless it's ok with that member.
13. Animals can be played as characters as well
14. Shifters can have up to three animal forms they change into
15. You can keep all your characters on the same account it you want to, I don't care either way
16. Some powers for characters are limited
17. Anything graphic needs to fade to black
18. Events and Contests will be announced on a special board and in the Updates tab
19. The same members can not have characters dating/married to each other, someone else must play the other character. Please use the Wanted Ad board and ask someone to play the other character even if it is for a short time.
20. Arguments! I understand that misunderstandings happen and that sometimes an argument happens. If neither side can resolve the problem then both parties need to PM a staff member and talk things out, if the staff member can't figure out what to do, then the staff member and both parties need to PM the Admin(Me) and they will figure it out.
21. NPCS! Okay everyone this isn't so much a rule as some information. There will be a list of NPCs that can be played by anyone. These NPCs can be used for any reason at all, fighting, an bad guy for a plot. These NPCs can also die up to 15 times before they are dead for good. The good thing about this is I want everyone especially those that are having a bad day to use them to get some of their anger out. However anyone who uses the NPCs must post of the list who they are using and when they have finished with the NPC and tell if the NPC was killed so the staff can keep up with their deaths.
22. Powers - There is a list of powers that you can pick from. Currently there are no power limits except for a certain few. New powers will be added as often as possible.
23. Weapons - Characters can have up to five weapons a piece, guns are allowed
24. Jobs - Working on a list of jobs and the range is limitless, so pretty much go crazy. If there is a job you want to see on the list just let a staff member know and it will be added.
25. Rank System - there really isn't a ranking system in Monstreial. The only real ranking system is at the castle, king/queen, royal heir, advisor, generals, soldiers and that's about it, if there is a rank you want added to the list that is made then let us know.
26. We are open and welcome any and all suggestions about the site, also don't be afraid to ask questions, we don't bite. 
27. These rules will be updated when needed, so please keep an eye out for updates.
Covens and Packs
Currently there are no packs/covens in Monstreial. There will be a form that you can use to make your coven/pack. You may post positions you need filled in the Wanted Ad board. Covens and Packs still have to obey the laws of the kingdom as well as the laws of the Coven/Pack that the leaders have. There should be at least five members for a coven and seven members for a pack before either can be accepted. All members can't be played by the same person. |
